Bill is a larger than life man full of spirit and love for his community and his music.
He wears many hats in the industry. He works both in sales and as a charming voice djing shows on air. Listening to Bill speak, you can hear his smile over the air waves.
He’s a legend in radio, especially when providing the decades of joy to his polka listeners in the early hours of Sunday mornings. Listeners ranger from 120 countries around the world! His audience varies in age from 40 to 105. Many have said they have listened through the years with generations of family members. He has a very loyal, loving fan base who follow him everywhere he is willing to take them, including on bus trips or vacations. He enjoys the company and is willing to take you along, if you’re up for the ride!
One of Bill’s proudest memories, was the opportunity to announce President Reagan during a local rally in the 80’s. Another is his induction into the Binghamton Hall of Fame for broadcasting.
His secret to life is surrounding himself with those who inspire him, exercising, reading and going to mass every day.
When asked if he could say something to anyone anywhere, his answer was the chance one more time to say “thank you” to his mother for everything.
